Ritu Gupta is a compassionate and highly skilled Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of healthcare experience, including more than 12 years in advanced practice. She is currently completing her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at Fairfield University, with specialized psychiatric training through Yale’s Emergency Room Crisis Intervention Unit (CIU).

Her expertise encompasses primary care, occupational health, chronic pain management, and psychiatric crisis intervention, affording her a well-rounded and holistic perspective on patient care. Ritu has advanced training and clinical experience in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Spravato® (esketamine) therapy, and evidence-based psychotherapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She also incorporates integrative and nutritional psychiatry approaches, blending conventional treatments with lifestyle, dietary, and wellness strategies to support mental health.

Ritu is dedicated to creating a safe, trauma-informed, and collaborative environment for her patients. She specializes in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, and complex mental health conditions by tailoring care plans that may include medication management, interventional treatments, psychotherapy, and holistic mind-body strategies. Her integrative approach empowers patients to build resilience and achieve long-term emotional well-being.

She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and holds active APRN licensures in Connecticut and New York. Outside of direct patient care, she is passionate about advancing psychiatric services through telemedicine and innovative healthcare technologies, making high-quality mental health support more accessible
